Brazing of inductors
Induction furnace and heater inductors are examples of elements through which a lot of current flows and they are often exposed to unfriendly environmental conditions such as: close contact with aggressive soldering fluxes, high temperatures and mechanical damage.
For this reason, especially in the case of large inductors, brass or silver solders are almost exclusively used to ensure reliable and durable electrical and mechanical connections.
