Hard soldering of silver contacts
Soldering of silver plates and contacts is used in high current contactors and contact assemblies. Silver solders with a melting point lower than the melting point of the silver contacts themselves are used to solder silver contacts. The difference in these temperatures is often small. Therefore, precise temperature control is very important, which in the induction soldering process is stabilized by pyrometer feedback or is set permanently by adjusting heater power and heating time.
