Hardening of machine parts
A frequent problem of classical hardening, which consists in complete heating and then cooling of elements, is a significant susceptibility to cracking. The problem particularly concerns rotating machine parts and elements which must endure considerable stresses and mechanical shocks.
The induction hardening method enables surface hardening of elements whose cores do not lose their natural elasticity.
