Powder sintering
Powder sintering is a process by which high quality precision parts of any shape can be produced. An example is the production of silver contacts for high current contactors. To obtain the required shape, a mould is made in which powder is placed. Then, using a press, the powder is pressed, creating a self-supporting but still very delicate element of the target shape.
